EXPERIENCE

    • Seamlessly collaborate with project management, strategy, and technology teams to foster a culture of listening and open dialogue used to define concepts and resolve conflicts or blockers

    • Facilitate discovery workshops with internal and external stakeholders to uncover, define, and validate a project scope or concept

    • Lead work for UX researchers, strategists, UX designers, and visual designers, including data portals and content-rich websites for non-profits, NGOs, and corporate partners

    • Guide projects using Human-Centered Design (HCD) best practices and methodologies by leveraging user research and defining actionable insights 

    • Oversee and execute key team deliverables, which include: primary and secondary research, user flows/journeys, responsive wireframes and visual design, design systems, interactive design, and usability testing

    • Design highly accessible interfaces that account for new, evolving, or established design systems

    • Present work through storytelling that is grounded in product and brand strategy

    • Manage project resourcing and prioritization for the UX research, strategy, and creative team in collaboration with project managers

    • Led project teams to ideate, develop, and market brands across a variety of verticals

    • Worked closely with the strategy team to ensure deliverables aligned with project briefs

    • Defined and rolled out the conceptual process for UI and design system development

    • Communicated clearly with internal teams, clients, and external vendors (videographers, illustrators, animators, photographers)

    • Defined growth strategies for individual creative team members and conducted quarterly performance reviews

    • Worked closely with development teams and product owners to ensure the design vision for digital products was realized

    • Designed digital products including responsive marketing websites, e-commerce websites, and mobile apps

    • Conducted competitive brand assessments to understand client landscapes

    • Juggled multiple projects at once, ensuring that deadlines and client expectations were met

    • Designed materials across all brand touchpoints including logos, stationery, digital assets, marketing materials, and signage

    • Worked to create concepts for identity, interactive, and multi-media marketing campaigns

    • Designed and oversaw the printing of brand collateral and annual reports

    • Met and coordinated with paper and print vendors by writing specs, reviewing proofs, and attending press checks

    • Assisted environmental graphic design leads in the design of brand and wayfinding programs for communities

    • Worked closely with outsourced developers to produce websites on WordPress

    • Helped craft quotes and scopes of work for potential clients
